Description

Surprise this is not image more on Astrobin. I trhink it was on one of Gary's lists, I was able to image it a lot in a relatively blank area of sky while I waited for the Abell's to rise.

The exposures listed above are 1/3 of what I took.

Processing used Topaz AI for noise reduction. Sharpen AI did nothing. But, I found the core in PI using the identify wavelet script... was #5. Colors enhanced with 3D LUT.

From Wikipedia:

The central part of NGC 4636 is circular and is surrounded by an elongated fainter envelope, containing a large number of globular clusters. The galaxy has an active galactic nucleus (AGN) that has been categorised as LINER or a type 1.9 Seyfert galaxy. The source of nuclear activity in galaxies is suggested to be a supermassive black hole that accretes material. NGC 4636 harbors a relatively small supermassive black hole with mass 7.9×107 M☉, as inferred from the bulge velocity dispersion.
